How it works

Getting remote IT support with Techs on Demand is easy, secure and friendly, just get in touch with us by phone, or book a time that suits you and we will guide you through the rest of the process.

Call us or book online

To get in touch, call us on 1300 472 196 or book a time online for your support session. Our opening hours are 9:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday AEST. If you book a time online, one of our technicians will call you at the appointed time. If you're a new customer, we will first get you set up with a profile, including sending you a secure link to enter your payment details.

Remote Access

We will send you a secure link to download our remote support software, and assist you to get it working on your device.

Fixing the problem

We will connect to your device remotely and fix your IT issue. You will be able to watch what we are doing on your screen as we work. When we have resolved the problem, we will disconnect from your device and the remote support software will automatically be removed.

Payment

Once your support session is complete, we will process payment on the credit card you provided and send you a tax invoice by email. If you have an Unlimited IT Support monthly subscription, you will not be charged for your support session.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our fees for remote tech support are billed in 15 minute blocks at $40 per block. There is no minimum fee, which means you only pay for what you need. For even better value, you can sign up for a monthly subscription package ($135/month) which allows you to call us as much as you like for a fixed monthly fee.

When you first call us, we set you up with a profile, then send you a link to enter your credit card details. We never see or handle your credit card details, this is done securely by Stripe. You only have to do this once - your details are linked to your profile so the next time you call us, the process is quicker and easier.

We understand that remote access to devices can raise concerns about security and privacy. We take these concerns seriously and prioritise the protection of your devices and your data. Our remote access protocols utilise encryption and authentication techniques to ensure that your information remains confidential throughout the support session. We also adhere to strict privacy policies and will never access or share any sensitive data without your explicit permission. Rest assured, your trust and the security of your devices are of utmost importance to us.

We pride ourselves in being able to handle most issues remotely, however in the event your issue requires onsite assistance, we can refer you to a trusted and reliable onsite support technician in your area. In most cases, there is no fee if we are unable to solve your problem remotely.

At the start of your support call, the technician can give you an estimate of how long your issue is likely to take to fix. If the support session runs over that time, the technician will check in with you to ensure you are comfortable to continue. If there is a larger issue requiring more time, we will provide you with a quote before commencing the work.
